Weight Loss Surgery

Assisted in case preparation, mediation, and settlement as a legal consultant in this 2009 bariatric surgery case. The client’s Roux en-Y weight-loss surgery was misconstructed, leaving her with catastrophic permanent injuries.



A 3-year-old had lead lab results of 34 -4 after living in an apartment with lead paint. Insurance paid its $500,000 policy limits in a structured settlement that protects and grows the money tax-free for the child and provides for a college fund and future payments.
